اول رحلة سفاري : تنزانيا - First Safari Trip : Tanzania

رحلة السفاري الاولى كانت الي تنزانيا في ٢٠١٤ ووقتها كان عدد قليل من المصوريين القطريين يذهبون للسفاري للتصوير. فكان شي غريب بالناسبة للناس ولاهلي بالذات وبعضهم وصفني بالجنون لاني رايح بنفسي وراح اسكن بخيمة وسط السفاري والحيوانات. الرحلة كانت لمدة ١٠ ليالي زرت فيها عدد من المحميات وهي تارينقير، بحيرة مانيارا، محمية نجورونجورو ومحمية سيرينجيتي.

The first safari trip was to Tanzania in 2014. At that time the number of the Qatari photographers who have been to such trip was very low therefore it was strange to my fiends and family that am going in such trip and they though am crazy considering that am going alone and will stay in a tent in the middle of the safari between the wild animals. The trip was for 10 nights and I covered 4 locations; Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.

1- Tarangire

في هذه المحمية اغلب الحيوانات كانت فيلة وزرافات وغزلان وبعض الفهود. بس ذباب التسي تسي كان موجود بكثرة. طبعا مو نفس ماكنا نتخيل انه مميت وهذا كان اول سؤال سألته المرشد الي معاي قال الي بتنزانيا بس يعضون مو خطرين مثل بعض الدول الثانية.

This national park contain mainly elephants, giraffes, gazelles and some cheetahs and a lot of tsetse flies.

2-Lake Manyara

من الحدائق الوطنية الصغيرة في تنزانيا وتتمتع بالعديد من انواع الحيوانات والطيور مثل الفلامينقو حيث يعيش باعداد كبيرة فيها. يوم واحد كان كافي في هذه المحمية.

One of the small national parks in Tanzania with different species of animals including large number of flamingos. One day was enough for my in the park.

3-Ngorongoro Crater

محمية نجورونجورو تقع داخل اكبر فوهة بركان في العالم تغطي مساحة ٢٦٠ كيلو متر مربع وتقع على ارتفاع ١.٨ كيلومتر لهذا السبب الجو فيها مختلف وبارد.

Ngorongoro crater is the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera covering an area of 260 Km square and located at a hight of 1.8 kilometer above the sea level. Thats why the weather is different and colder compare to the other areas.

4-Serengeti

من اشهر المحميات في العالم وتبلغ مساحتها ٣٠ الف كيلو متر مربع ولكبر مساحتها الشخص يحتاج لقضاء عدة ايام فيها. وتعتبر من اهم المحطات لمتابعة الهجرة العظيمة للحيوانات بتجاه كينيا في شهر يوليو تقريبا.

One of the famous and biggest national parks in the world with area of 30,000 Km2. You need to spend few days there to cover more areas. Serengeti is also famous spot to view the great migration which usually takes place around July.

في الرحلة In the Trip

امور اخرى بالرحلة. يمكنكم زيارة قرية الماساي عن طريق ترتيب مسبق مع الشركة المستضيفة بمبلغ رمزي حيث يتم استقبالكم باغانيهم وقفزاتهم المعروفة واخذ جولة بالقرية والتعرف على عاداتهم .

Also you can visit the Masai village which can be arranged by the safari company with small fees where you will be welcomed by their songs and jumps. Also you can take a tour inside and know their traditions.

الطيران الداخلي كان ولازال يسبب لي رعب بس بعد ٧ رحلات بديت اتعود عالموضوع. المطارات الداخلية مدرجاتها من تراب واحيانا يكون فيها حيوانات تتمشى.

Internal flights were my biggest fear during the trip, I got used to it know after 7 safari trips. The runway is from dirt and some times you will find animals walking on it.

بسبب موقع المخيمات المعزول عن المدن واغلاق الانارة بالليل، محبي تصوير النجوم ودرب التبانة ممكن يطلعون بصور حلوه. طبعا يجب اخذ الحيطة في الليل بالمخيم فالمشي ممنوع بدون الحراس.

As the location is isolated from the cities and the light are off at night, you can capture the milky way and the stars. However, you need to be careful while walking at night. Also you are not allowed to walk with out the guards.

Nikon 24-70 (Used mostly for land scape and personal photos)

Nikon 14-24 (did not use it a lot it was good for the milky way shot)

بعض النصائح -Tipes

١- التخطيط المسبق للرحلة والحجر بمدة كافية وتحديد الاهداف. اذا كان السبب الهجرة العظيمة للحيوانات فيجب معرفة الشهور المناسبة.

٢- مراجعة المركز الصحي قبل السفر واخذ التطعيمات اللازمة وحبوب الملاريا - ويفضل الحبة الاسبوعية.

٣- اختيار العدة المناسبة مع مراعاة الوزن حيث اغلب شركات الطيران الداخلي لاتسمح بوزن اكثر من ١٥ كيلو وبعض الشنط الكبيرة لاتسع الطائرات الصغيرة.

٤- التغذية البصرية قبل السفر.

٥- معرفة طباع وسلوكيات الحيوانات لتوقع حركاتهم .

٦- التصوير من زوايا مختلفة ويفضل زوايا منخفضة مع مستوى عين الحيوانات. من اخطائي في هذه السفرة اني كنت اصور من زاوية مرتفعة من سقف السيارة طول الوقت.

٧- الصبر ثم الصبر

1- Advance planning for the trip and book your safari early and know your objectives from the trip. If you are looking for the great migration then you need to know which months are the best.

2- Visit your health center and speak with the doctor to know which vaccinations you need and the Malaria pills to take.

3- Chose the right gears and take in consideration the weight as most of the internal flight does not allow more than 15 kg and big bags.

4- Visual feeding

5- Know the animals behaviors to anticipate their movement.

6- Try different angles and try the lower angle with the animal eye level. In this trip one of my mistakes that I was always shooting from the top of the car.
